Moderator Program Standards (MPS)

 Welcome to our Staff Team! As a moderator, you hold a crucial role in maintaining a positive and fair environment in our community. This is not a real job, but an important responsibility that requires commitment and integrity. By being part of the our Moderator Program (being a official moderator in our staff team), you accept and agree to these standards. 

This is NOT related to Fox Jet Studios Moderator Program in Roblox, these are the standards/requirements for official moderators that are part of our staff team.

1. Responsibilities

Moderators have the following responsibilities:

• Enforce community guidelines fairly and consistently.

• Act professionally and treat all players with respect, respecting our standards and code of conduct and respecting other platforms ToS and Community Standards, such as Roblox, Discord, Guilded, etc.

• Monitor in-experience reports with the help of our moderation resources.

• Monitor chats, reports, and other communications on any platform where you have been given moderator access (e.g., Discord, Guilded, etc.). 

• Monitor our Roblox Community public chat and take appropriate action against any user who is being inappropriate or not complying with Roblox Standards, including issuing warnings, suspensions, or bans if necessary.

• Help other moderators.

• Have time to dedicate to moderator work.

• Report major issues to higher staff.

• Being part of our team, possibly being publicly recognized for being part of our team, having an admin badge on various platforms, and other benefits.

2. Code of Conduct

All moderators must adhere to the following principles:

• Seriousness & Professionalism: Moderation is a serious responsibility; all actions should be taken thoughtfully.

• Zero Tolerance for Discrimination & Abuse: We have absolutely ZERO tolerance for any form of discrimination, harassment, or abuse. Violating this policy will result in immediate removal from the program. With NO opportunity to ever reapply to the program.

• No Abuse of Power: Do not misuse your role for personal gain, favoritism, or unfair punishments.

• Respect & Patience: Players may have different opinions or make mistakes. Always approach situations calmly.

• Confidentiality: Keep internal discussions and reports private. You should not share any information regarding reports or other internal matters with anyone.

• Social Media Conduct: You must follow all social media community standards, Terms of Service, and other conduct guidelines. You must not harm our image or engage in inappropriate behavior. If we find that you have been acting inappropriately on any platform — such as making offensive comments, posts, or engaging in discrimination, abuse, or generally being a bad influence — we will suspend you without the opportunity to rejoin our Staff Team.

• Account Responsibility: Your Roblox, Discord, Guilded, or any other account with access to moderation resources should NEVER be shared with anyone else. If we suspect or find out you've been sharing your account or not following our standards, you will be suspended from our program. 

3. Time Commitment

• Moderators should dedicate at least 5 hours per week to moderation duties.

• This equates to approximately 1 hour per day from Monday to Friday (Moderation is not required on Saturdays and Sundays; however, if you cannot complete your duties Monday through Friday, you may do so on the weekend).

• Any moderation tasks not completed by human moderators will be reviewed by our AI moderation system.

• If for any reason you are unable to work, please contact us and provide an explanation. You are allowed a maximum of 7 days per month without fulfilling your duties, but only 5 of those can be taken without prior justification. If you fail to provide a valid reason within 30 days after missing a scheduled day, we may have to suspend your moderator account.

• If you provide us with an explanation, we will not take any action against your account. However, if you do not provide one within 30 days, we may need to suspend your account for security reasons, as you may have lost access or something else may have occurred.

4. Moderator Role Requirements

 Moderators are required to be part of the official Fox Jet Studios Staff Group. Failure to join this group will result in removal from the program (with the possibility to reapply later). To join the official staff group, 

You will need:

• Secure Account: Have a secure Roblox account with Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled and a strong password. (This applies to any other accounts, such as Discord account, etc.)

• Age Verification: Your Roblox account must be age verified, with a valid ID and a phone number (We will NEVER ask for your ID information or phone number, but we may ask for proof of your account verification on Roblox such a screenshot of the verification status, etc).

• Have a valid personal email address. (We will also provide you with a professional email address, e.g., your_name@foxjetstudios.com; we may ask for your personal email in order to set up your professional account).

• Language Proficiency: Possess a good command of the English language (C1, C2) and be proficient in at least two languages, such as English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, Dutch, Italian, Turkish, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Arabic, Vietnamese, Mandarin Chinese, etc.

• Account Age: Your Roblox account must have been active for at least 500 days.

• Group Join Request: Request to join the Fox Jet Studios Group (Fox Jet Studios - Roblox) and Staff Group. (Fox Jet Studios Staff - Roblox)

• Community Reputation: Be a good Roblox community member.

• Professionalism & Responsibility: Demonstrate professionalism and responsibility in all situations.

• Moderation Experience: Previous experience moderating in other studios, platforms, games and others is an advantage (optional). 

• Conflict Resolution: Be able to resolve conflicts in a calm and neutral manner.

• Terms of Service Knowledge: Have knowledge of Roblox's Terms of Service and community guidelines.

• Active Participation: Participate actively in Fox Jet Studios projects and events. (Optional)

• Teamwork: Be able to work as part of a team and follow instructions from higher staff.

• Time Commitment: See on article "Time Commitment".

• Respectful Communication: Maintain respectful communication with all group members.

• Stay Informed: Stay up to date with all Fox Jet Studios news and updates.

• Access to Resources: See on article "Access to Resources".

• Community Improvement: Have a passion for improving the community and helping players.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Show good problem-solving skills in various situations.

• Confidentiality: Be able to handle confidential information responsibly.

• Feedback: Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the moderation system.

• Clean Record: Have no record of moderation bans in any of our experiences, social media channels, platform, Roblox Community, etc, over the past 5 years.

• Age Requirement: Individuals aged 13 and above can apply to join the role at our Staff Team. However, if you're under 18, you must have a consent from a parent or guardian. 

You will:

• Enjoy benefits such as being part of our team, potential public recognition, an admin badge on various platforms, and more. 

5. Access to Resources

You will need:

• A stable and fast internet connection to ensure smooth communication and access to necessary platforms.

• A reliable laptop or PC with enough performance to handle moderation tools and multitasking.

• Access to Discord (or other communication platforms used by the team) for quick updates and coordination.

• A working microphone and headphones for voice chats or meetings.

• Basic knowledge of file-sharing platforms (e.g., Google Drive, OneDrive, iCloud) for resource management.

• Access to a quiet environment when performing important moderation tasks.

You will have:

• Access to our Staff Team Workspace, Staff Team Roblox Community, Discord, and Guilded Servers for admins;

• Access to moderation resources on our experiences, Discord, Guilded, and more.

6. Moderation Audits & Future Rewards

• Continuous Monitoring: All moderation actions are monitored and reviewed. Our system tracks every moderation decision, and we receive real-time alerts on all activities.

• Consequences for Misconduct: Any incorrect or intentional misconduct may result in temporary suspension or permanent removal from the program.

• Future Rewards: We want to reward moderators and we are planning to introduce a payment system based on the moderator’s engagement, rewarding active and fair moderators every month with Roblox's Currency (Robux). We plan to introduce Fox Jet Studios Staff Payouts Program in the future.

7. Reporting Suspicious Behavior

• If a moderator notices abnormal or suspicious behavior from another moderator (e.g., biased decisions, abuse of power, or inactivity), they must report it through the Fox Jet Studios Moderator Program, to higher staff or e-mail.

• All reports are confidential and will be carefully reviewed by the higher staffs.

8. Conflict Escalation Procedure

 If you are unable to handle a conflict on your own (e.g., when moderating a user), contact our higher-level staff for guidance. 

9. Moderator Documentation

 If you need help using the moderation tools or managing user situations on any platform where you have moderator access, please refer to our comprehensive documentation. If you still have questions, please contact our higher-level staff. 

10. Events & Important Dates

 Once you are part of our team, we will provide you with access to our workspace, where you can view important dates, events, tasks, communications, and more. 

11. Emergency Contact Protocol

 In case of an emergency, such as a hacker attack or similar incident, please report it immediately to our higher-level staff through the fastest available channels (e.g., Discord, Guilded, X, or personal contact). 

12. Professional e-mail

 If you're accepted in our staff team, we will give you the opportunity of having a professional e-mail (like YOUR_NAME@foxjetstudios.com) for you to use in things related to our studio. To be eligible you may have the following requirements:

• Have a personal e-mail ONLY dedicated to Fox Jet Studios communications on Google Gmail, iCloud Mail or Outlook/Hotmail. (When you receive a message on your professional e-mail it will be redirected to your personal e-mail.);

• Prove you have 2FA enabled on your personal e-mail platform;

• Your personal e-mail should have at least your first name or a nickname (of your preference).

You will:

• After we set up you your new e-mail you will receive a confirmation message to link your personal e-mail;

• In case you lose access to your personal e-mail, you must tell higher staff to cancel it immediately;

• Use your professional e-mail to things related to Fox Jet Studios, you may not use it to personal things such as social media accounts or confidential communications;

• Currently, you are only able to receive messages on your professional e-mail, but we plan to give our staff full access to their professional e-mail (sending/receiving messages).

13. Privacy

 We care a lot about our Moderators Privacy, for more information, please contact our higher staff.

14. Official Break Days & Work Schedule

 At Fox Jet Studios, we value clear communication. If there’s ever a day when no moderation work is scheduled, we will inform you in advance, all important dates will be listed in our workspace. Stay awesome and thank you for your dedication!

15. Moderator Removal

Failure to adhere to these standards may result in:

• Immediate removal for severe misconduct, especially in cases of discrimination or abuse.

• Being blacklisted from future roles at Fox Jet Studios. 

• Suspension from the Moderator Program.

16. Moderator Removal Appeal

 For cases that do not involve discrimination, abuse, harassment, or other severe violations, we can accept moderator removal appeals. If you wish to appeal your removal from our staff team, please contact our higher-level staff or our support e-mail and include any supporting evidence. If your appeal is accepted, we will remove your suspension.

17. Leave the moderator role

 To leave your moderator role, please contact us through our Staff Team group, via our admins, or through our email. Once you leave, you may apply again after 90 days. Also, if you leave or lose your role, you will lose your professional email along with access to administrative tools and other resources.

18. We will NEVER ask for your access informations

 We will never ask you for any access information to our platform, experiences, or anything else. Our ONLY official contact emails always end in @foxjetstudios.com.
